When the outcome is this predictable, it's less about winning than achieving a personal best

Multi Radiance Medical Super Pulsed Laser Therapy is anchored in science and, with 400,000 units in use worldwide, is far and way the worldwide leader in SUper Pulsed Laser Therapy

Our Competitive Advantage

Low Level Laser Therapy vs High Level Laser Therapy

Class 4 Continuous Wave Lasers and Mechanically Pulsed Lasers are not LLLT!

Therapeutic lasers are classified on their mean output of power

-There are THOUSANDS of studies on LLLT,--BY DEFINITION

Class 4 Lasers BY DEFINITION are >500mW and are now known by the made-up term HLLT

-There LESS THAN A DOZEN studies done on Class 4 HLLT.

Class 4 Lasers are not LLLT and do not have any claim to the research done on LLLt

There are over 200 new studies per year on LLLT. It would take 20 years for HLLT to have as much research, and because of the limitations of the technology there will probably NEVER be that many studies with positive outcomes.

Class 4 lasers ARE powerful…so powerful their use is restricted by the FDA because of the risk of adverse events

Class 4 lasers ARE powerful, but can’t use their power because of the heat it generates

Class 4 lasers ARE powerful, however, classification has nothing to do with the medical use, efficiency or quality of laser.

BUT POWER WILL NOT drive light deeply into the tissue if the penetration factor of the wavelength is low. Depth of Penetration is wavelength dependent.

Class 4 CW lasers emit energy continuously with equal mean and peak powers causing ionization (interference)

Depth of penetration is reduced as the “ion cloud” repels the continual photonic onslaught (minimizes absorption)

As the power of the Class 4 CW device increases, heat buildup occurs at a rate higher than it can be absorbed (diminished phototherapeutic effect)

Mechanical pulsing (duty cycle) causes a dramatic decrease in mean output of power, thus reducing available photons for absorption.

This minimizes the transformation of photons into biochemical energy necessary to produce a cellular response and reach target depth of penetration.

Not all LLLT Lasers are the same

The Multi Radiance Medical Solution: Super Pulsed Technology

The basic effect of Super Pulsed Laser irradiation is a low thermal effect with a high energy density

Super pulsed laser (GaAs) penetrates deeper than a CW laser of the same wavelength that is not super pulsed, but has the same average power

High energy densities (dose or fluence) can be delivered over a shorter period of time without heat buildup

Cells have more time to absorb light (Tissue relaxation between each impulse)

Super Pulsed Lasers allow for Techniques Anchored in Science

  • Contact method—direct skin contact
  • Scanning—on the skin surface
  • Overpressure—directly compressing tissue to minimize blood flow and maximize depth of penetration
  • Woodpecker technique (Oshiro’s Proximal Priority Principle)
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Trigger point theraoy
  • Muscle spasm reduction

Super Pulsed “Frequency” (Pulse Repetition Rate)

Super Pulsed Laser operates like a “camera flash” with very intense light pulses of high peak power (10-100 W measured in Watts or Milliwatts)

Super Pulsed Laser uses very short pulses of light between 100-200 nanoseconds in duration

With a shorter pulse width, greater peak power can be applied

Frequency (Hz) is defined as the number of impulses per second (Pulse repetition rate).

A 5 Hz frequency would generate 5x Power 10 Hz = 10x Power 1000 Hz = 1000x Power

Wavelength determines depth of penetration. Peak power determines how many photons are delivered into the tissue.

This, Super pulsed lasers experience an increase in its mean output of power but not thermal output.

Multi Radiance Medical uses three clinically proven wavelengths with optimal tissue saturation: 660nm LED Red Light. 875nm Infrared Broadband, and 905nm GaAs Super Pulsed Laser.

A Magnetic Field creates synergy between laser and LED’s, thereby increasing photon absorption at the cellular level.

Tissue levels are saturated with light from low wavelengths to higher wavelengths, one tissue layer at a time.

Peak power determines how many photons are delivered into tissue

High peak power = high photon density

Power density increases as (pulse repetition rate) frequency increases

Super Pulsed Laser allows tissue relaxation between each impulse, decreasing resistance to penetration

Multi Radiance Peak Power of 25,000 mW with LaserStim and 50,000 mW with LaserShower

Both emitters can be used to treat multiple points simultaneously

The LaserShower LS50 emitter (4 SPL GaAs diodes) can treat a broader coverage area (20cm2) with more power. The LS50 is ideal for treating the spine and large muscle groups.

LLLT is proven safe and effect. Multi Radiance has made it affordable too. Class 4 Lasers are not LLLT and their genesis is from ablative technology used in surgery.

Not all LLLT Lasers are the same.
